Maeen, a PhD student at our center, has achieved two notable scholarships. His dedication to academic excellence and sustainability earned him the esteemed 2023 Christiansen-Roller-White-Miles Founder’s Scholarship from the New York State Association for Solid Waste Management (NYSASWM), valued at $2000. Maeen’s accomplishments also include the 2023 SWANA scholarship, an achievement valued at $1000, showcasing his commitment to advancing solid waste management solutions.
Sagarika, also a PhD student, has added a significant achievement to her academic journey. She has been awarded the 2023 SWANA (Solid Waste Association of North America) scholarship, valued at $1000. This recognition underlines Sagarika’s commitment to making a positive impact on solid waste management practices through her research efforts.
