Funded by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) through the Environmental Protection Fund, this project aims to provide a comprehensive assessment of current and potential Recyclables Handling and Recovery Facility (RHRF) technologies in New York State. RHRFs play a crucial role in processing recyclable materials to prepare them for market. By enhancing understanding of RHRF technologies and their potential, this project aims to foster innovation and improvement in the recycling sector throughout New York State.

Create a comprehensive catalog of existing RHRFs in New York State and highlight exemplary facilities from around the country.

Document Processes and Flows

Present the collected information in a user-friendly website, tailoring content for different audiences, including:
